We’re seeking a Senior React Full-Stack Developer to join our clients team at the heart of Brisbane’s vibrant travel scene. This permanent role offers a competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $187,500 per annum, including super, depending on experience.
As a Senior React Web Developer, you’ll be instrumental in enhancing our clients customer-facing web applications, working closely with our technical lead to transform and develop solutions that delight millions of users every month. This is a brand-new position within our clients organisation, reporting to a highly skilled Technical Lead with over seven years tenure within the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborating with the technical lead to develop and mentor developers working on our web applications.
• Creating full-stack solutions directed by product owners.
• Utilizing leading development practices and technology to improve the overall customer experience.
• Providing valuable insights to enhance our web products.
• Developing B2B platforms to streamline our business operations.

You’ll be great in this role if you have:

• Extensive experience with JavaScript web frameworks, particularly React.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in core JavaScript and experience with tools like Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence.
• Previous experience in developing high-performance web applications.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Degree in a relevant field such as information technology.

Desirable skills:

• Previous experience in DevOps and continuous delivery.
• Experience in the airline or aviation industry.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to mentor new developers.
• Familiarity with React full-stack frameworks such as Next.js or RedwoodJS.
