Description:

OVERVIEW

The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for partnering closely with the Human Resources team in ensuring that all recruitment needs, and resource requirements are met for Corporate Markets. The Senior Recruiter will play an integral role in providing operational support in all areas of talent attraction, recruitment, resourcing, and selection across the Corporate Markets division.

EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • 2-3 years + recruitment experience in a high-volume environment (preferably within an in-house or RPO environment)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop trusted partnerships across all levels of the business
  • Strong business acumen together with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, communicate and deliver, meeting timelines set by business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, challenge constructively and effectively and confidence to make considered decisions with limited information or when under pressure
  • Demonstrated flexibility and agility to work effectively within a fast paced, complex and changing environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions drive effectiveness and provide stakeholder updates on recruitment performance and other recruitment related insights.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline is preferable, but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail, high quality standards with analytical and problem-solving ability
    This is a permanent part time role working 4 days/ 30 hours per week, based between Sydney CBD and Parramatta offices.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Focus

  • Establish trusted relationships and partnerships with the business and developing a sound understanding of the business drivers and change agenda to ensure recruitment related matters and impacts are considered in all related decisions

Operational Management

  • Support and coach hiring managers throughout the process
  • Work with the hiring manager to conduct full role briefing, consult on market, agree process and timelines for key milestones (advertisements, interviews and expected offer date) – providing training and coaching throughout process in relation to systems, practice, and process
  • Deliver a first-class experience to all candidates, regardless of application outcome ensuring correct details are provided, recruitment process an appropriate length, a transparent process throughout and a seamless on-boarding
  • Share insights and best practice across the team
  • Use metrics and measures to continually evaluate the success recruitment process and practices for the business unit and contribute to the same for link group by supporting with group wide initiatives and changes
  • Drive collaboration across the recruitment team to ensure consistency and process excellence
  • Contribute to the wider HR agenda by supporting EVP, on-boarding, culture, engagement, retention, branding, initiatives
  • Actively promote in all areas of recruitment, ensuring considered across all elements of recruitment and selection
  • Develop manager awareness and embed the processes that support unconscious bias, pay equality, flexible working, and equal opportunities through ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process

Governance and Risk

  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Support Link Group assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices
  • Ensure all requisitions have the appropriate approvals before commencing requirement and all new hires meet audit requirements
  • Process excellence, data integrity and compliance to policy and legislation (requisition management to ensure data up to date and accurate, zero fail on new hire audit)
