ABOUT THE ROLE:
With the continued growth of the company, D-Wave has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will cover the essentials of searching for top talent and help develop recruiting strategies that promote effective methods to source and evaluate talent for D-Wave and maintain quality candidate pipelines for key positions and proactive growth. You will interface directly with company leadership across product, professional services, and functional teams, working closely with key cross-functional stakeholders in driving a talent agenda that aligns with business priorities. This role can be fully remote from the US or Canada or can be hybrid from our Burnaby office in British Columbia, Canada. Are you a builder? Do you thrive in high growth ambiguous environments? WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own the full cycle recruiting process for roles, supporting a wide range of departments across the organization: engaging, evaluating, and hiring top candidates to join our growing company
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the interview process to develop job descriptions, identify candidates, manage the candidate experience, and negotiate offers
- Manage the inbound applicant pipeline, while identifying passive job seekers using a full range of sourcing/attraction tactics and resources
- Provide a pleasant experience for every candidate from applicant stage to offer while evaluating skill level, driving the interview and offer process, salary recommendations and closing of candidate leading to handoff for a smooth onboarding experience
- Move the needle on recruitment activities ensuring candidates are moving through the interview process, feedback is collected post-interview, and candidates and hiring managers are kept updated on status
- Responsible for the Co-op recruitment program
- Participate in employer branding projects and assist with recruiting events
