SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant across multiple “white collar” sectors in high volume recruitment environment
- Excellent communication and people skills to engage confidently with clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work within a cohesive team environment & contribute to a positive culture and workplace environment.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities to identify top talent and assess candidate fit.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools, techniques, and databases such as Job Adder, Linked In, Fieldglass, Beeline and others.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding client expectations and business growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create and post job advertisements on various job platforms.
- Evaluative candidate suitability by reviewing resumes, screening, and interview techniques.
- Referring suitable candidates to clients and scheduling interviews
- Promote business through client consultation, marketing activities and industry research.
- Proactively developing talent pools of suitably qualified candidates
- Day to day management of candidate and client data within our Applicant Tracking Software (Job Adder)
- Informing candidates of job requirements, work schedules and work conditions on commencement of employment
- Welfare checks ins for existing and newly placed candidates
- Provide consultancy to candidates on further education, training and job seeking approaches.
- Discuss and problem solve employment issues that may arise with existing clients and/or candidates.
- Performing reference checks on candidates
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant who can run their own ‘360-recruitment’. You will have at least three years’ experience in the recruitment industry including a working knowledge of the government contingent labour hire processes, use of state and local government job posting portals and previous private client recruitment.
Your proven history of meeting deadlines, speed to market, excellent attention to detail and ability to manage candidate databases will stand you out in the crowd. We have a great supportive team who can assist with the day-to-day admin tasks to ensure your success in this role!
