We are looking for a Senior Regional Trainer to join the HR Training department at our Head Office in Westville, Durban. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 5 years recent experience in retail training, preferably in a Regional Trainer role
• NQF 5 with Assessor/Facilitator and Moderator certificate;
• Valid driver’s license – this is not negotiable
• Ability to travel extensively
• Proficient in Excel

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To identify and monitor training needs across regions, track and report on succession planning for key roles, and supervise the activities of all Regional Trainers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and coordinate a team of Regional Trainers to ensure that all training objectives are achieved
• Conduct training for employees and regional trainers
• Assess and moderate learnerships, skills, and operational training
• Identify and address training gaps within regions
• Monitor and ensure the quality of training and assessments
• Mentor and track the progress of learners
• Prepare and manage training schedules and logistics
• Oversee succession planning and staff supervision
