WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Regulatory Reporting Consultant for our client, a multinational financial services company based in Limerick.
Our client is currently seeking a senior consultant for a 12-month contract. This role will report to the Head of Regulatory Reporting Operations and will focus on the preparation and review of daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting solutions. The primary responsibility of the team involves preparing, reviewing, and submitting these reports to regulators across Europe, encompassing various fund structures. Aside from the daily tasks, there are a number of efficiency projects to get involved in.
There is training provided for this position and a solid team that will give great support to the individual who joins their team.
This job will suit you if you like working with large data sets and enjoy working to deadlines and deliverables.
This position is a 12-month contract position with some possibility of extension or opportunities leading to permanency. Offers a hybrid working model with three days on-site.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review daily, monthly and quarterly reporting solutions and tasks.
  • Reviewing data and documents such as Excel data and markup documents.
  • Responsible for providing excellent client service, largely via email correspondence and handling queries.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the performance and service to clients on the Regulatory Reporting team.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff and foster a positive and collaborative environment across offshore and onshore sites.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the relationship managers to ensure that client account activity and overall client needs are met.
  • Identify process improvements and assist with the development of procedures for the Regulatory Reporting department with an emphasis on encouraging efficiency.
  • Conduct performance reviews for the team where required and assist in the development and training needs of self and team.
  • Become an SME on the technical operation of the Regulatory reporting department.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of industry and regulatory developments.

What are we looking for?

  • Fund Administration/Regulatory/Finance operational background an advantage.
  • Experience working with large data sets and working to deadlines.
  • An innovative approach to designing or proposing solutions, with a focus on transferrable, simplistic, and flexible solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Well-balanced and resilient with strong organisation skills.
  • Driven to achieve goals and results oriented.
  • Ability to review and resolve complex issues against challenging deadlines.
  • Experience in representing businesses to current clients via presentations.
  • Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Excel being essential.
