Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
As a key member of the Finance team this role will involve all Finance activities related to Reinsurance for Chubb Australia and Chubb New Zealand and provide direct support to the Reinsurance Manager for A&NZ. As part of a small team, you will help upskill other team members and promote cross training across all tasks to broaden the team’s experience and create efficiencies.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Reinsurance Finance team you will support the Reinsurance Manager with:
- Overseeing the facultative reinsurance portfolio.
- Managing the offshore team to complete the facultative reinsurance premiums payments and claims recoveries process.
- Attending to complex scheme reconciliations such as scheme bordereau arrangements and provide relevant guidance and assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monthly settlement of treaty reinsurance.
- Monthly management of relevant balance sheet minutes.
- Compilation and analysis of Regional reporting requirements.
- Regulatory reporting.
