A successful candidate should have prior experience and knowledge of conducting due diligence searches, writing research reports, handling client queries and feedback.
Key R es pon s i bi li ties

Senior Research Analysts tasks may include:

  • Conduct media and Internet searches on companies and individuals in English and a secondary language
  • To search on official sources (registrars, regulators, courts, etc.) for information gathering.
  • To work with external vendors and provide training and feedback to the vendors on improving their quality
  • To analyse the collected information with a view to reputational, financial and integrity risk (sanctions, corruption, bribery, money laundering, terrorism financing, regulatory violations, etc.)
  • Assists in training, guiding or even mentoring new hires in research work.
  • Communicates, trains and shares methods for success with the team and department.
  • Attends to sophisticated and/or special client requests.
  • Assists the Team Leader/Research Manager in people management
  • Works closely with report/case partners such as Specialist, Quality Control, Peers and secondary writers, external vendors or customer success manager/account manager to ensure the completion of the report that meets the client’s requirements.
  • Works with immediate team members as well as with other team members across the RDD organisation (from various offices)
  • Point of contact for the particular subject matter or knowledge expertise

Q u a li f i c atio n s/S k i l l s

  • Holds a college/university degree.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia. Additional South-East Asian languages such as Bahasa Malaysia, Thai, etc would be an added advantage.
  • Compliance, due diligence, AML/KYC or third-party risk management experience.
  • Excellent written and critical thinking skills, ability to work in a highly exciting, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Strong research skills, including online search tools related to corporate registries, litigation, bankruptcy, ESG, government filings and media sources.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills - prior experience in research/editorial roles is an advantage.

  • Ability to meet strict timelines and balance multiple projects simultaneously
