ABOUT US

iOmx Therapeutics is a clinical-stage company in the field of immuno-oncology located in Martinsried/Munich, Germany.
We are focusing on the development of first-in-class cancer immunotherapies, addressing novel immune evasion biologies, which are hijacked by tumors and their microenvironment.
We are looking for highly motivated, self-driven and competent colleagues who share our vision and wish to contribute to translating this vision into reality

Responsibilities:

As a part of the Research Department, you will contribute to the mechanistic understanding of novel immune-checkpoint targets and actively participate in the screening and selection of functional drug candidates against them for further development. You will work in a modern, semi-automated laboratory and will be eager to continuously evaluate and implement new state-of-the-art techniques to advance our target-tailored drug discovery and characterization efforts. Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Culture and maintenance of primary immune cells and immortalized cell lines
  • Immune cell separation from Leukopaks and buffy coats and purity assessment
  • In vitro primary immune cell-based experiments with execution of immunological endpoint assays such as flow cytometry, immune cytotoxicity assays, ELISA, multiplex, and live cell imaging
  • Perform molecular biology and protein analytic assays such as qPCR, Western Blotting, CRISPR/Cas-based gene editing, transfection and transduction of cells
  • Participate in routine laboratory management and organizational tasks
  • Execution of experiments both independently and in a team, including diligent analysis, documentation, and presentation of your results in internal team meetings
