We are seeking a full-time Research Associate (Grade 8) or Research Fellow (Grade 9) to join our thriving Department of Social Care and Social Work.
ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for an early to mid-career researcher with a strong interest and experience in disability studies, particularly in learning disability and/or autism. The successful candidate will have a developing publication record and evidence of involvement in or success with research funding applications. The ideal candidate will be a creative, flexible team player committed to social justice and impactful research.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with solid experience and expertise in relevant research methodologies. Enthusiasm for developing these approaches as part of our group is essential.
Responsibilities:
You will contribute to the Learning Disability and Autism Research Group within the Department of Social Care and Social Work. This new research group is gaining an international reputation in disability studies. Your role will involve developing a strong research portfolio and collaborating on ongoing and future projects.
