Senior Research Development Manager - Horizon Europe - Grade 8

We are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Research Development Manager to lead our Horizon Europe team.
You will lead a team of 3 working on projects that span the whole university and all 3 of the Horizon Europe pillars to broaden engagement with Horizon Europe leading ultimately to a growth in our research income.
The role is varied from delivering our Horizon Europe funding strategy, building networks and influence with funding agencies and key partners, horizon scanning and scoping projects with leading academics through to project managing large strategic bids.
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification and relevant research development experience in an EU context. You will be a self-starter, team player and enjoy collaborative working. You will have strong facilitation skills with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to the rapidly evolving research funding landscape.
The role is permanent and opportunities to undertake the role part time or flexibly will be considered.
