Set within UCL’s Faculty of The Built Environment, The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources (BSEER) is comprised of four world-class Institutes, providing the expert knowledge collaborative research and teaching of UCL Energy Institute, UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering, UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage and UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources. The UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering pursues a deeper understanding of the interactions between the built environment and health, human wellbeing, productivity, energy use and climate change.
Responsibilities:
The Research Fellow (Engagement and Evaluation) will be based in IEDE and will work intensively with other partners of the ‘Policy and Implementation for Climate & Health Equity (PAICE)’ project. The role of the successful applicant will be to work with the PAICE team to continue and build upon the evaluation of the PAICE project. They will work with the PAICE team to continue and build on the working relationship with the Climate Change Committee (CCC), the Greater London Authority (GLA), and participating local authorities in the delivery of the PAICE project. They will support the delivery of a policy-engaged research project to inform and evaluate UK Net Zero policies to generate and implement evidence. This post is available from July 2024 and is funded until April 2026 in the first instance, further funding to support the post may be available.
