Description:
We are pleased to welcome applications for a new position of Academic Lead for the National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Safety in Mental Health (NCISH). This post will be appointed at the level of Senior Research Fellow.
The post holder will assist in the delivery of the NCISH programme of research, including oversight and deliver of the Mental Health Clinical Outcome Review Programme (MHCORP). They will develop and deliver a portfolio of data collections and research projects, under the guidance of NCISH directors, world-leading suicide prevention experts Professor Sir Louis Appleby and Professor Nav Kapur.
The successful candidate is expected to be an experienced research leader, with a substantial track record of securing funding, and leading projects in the field of suicide prevention.
This is a full-time role, funded to 31 March 2025 in the first instance. Please see attached role description for further information about this opportunity.
