PETRONAS Canada is seeking a Senior Reservoir (Petroleum) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Calgary. This role focuses on supporting Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and developing our unconventional assets in Montney (Canada), Vaca Muerta (Argentina), and Shilaif (UAE).
Reporting to the Team Lead of Subsurface Projects, you will work closely with other functional teams in the Canadian and International assets to continuously optimize our well designs and reduce our carbon footprint as we rapidly grow our production. This will include providing subsurface technical support for well spacing/stacking scenarios, D&C design optimization opportunities, parent-child mitigation/remediation, reservoir monitoring and surveillance evaluations, as well as supporting CCS initiatives.
