Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior RF Spectrum Technician/Engineer to join our team in Crane, IN.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of experience minimum ISR collection experience.
  • Ability to travel CONUS for 1–2-week durations at least 6 times per year
  • Must work onsite at NSWC Crane 4 times a week.
  • TS Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Practical background and experience in SIGINT/COMINT/ELINT collection
  • Telecommunications experience
  • Experience with Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems
  • Experience drafting test plans, executing test events, and drafting test reports
  • Background and understanding of RF engineering, systems and or principles
  • Basic knowledge of DoD Command and Control (C2) systems, platforms, and components, including sensor systems and communication systems
  • Ability to employ electronic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, etc
  • Understanding of design, systems integration, operational testing, validation, and development to include Test and Evaluation (T&E)
  • Ability to draft technical plans, procedures, and reports
  • Experience working with or within the United States Marine Corps (USMC), Special Operations Forces (SOF) Community, and/or Intelligence Community
  • Practical experience in Radio Battalion tactical operation. Workload is application-based rather than research-based.
  • Experience and background in Alternative Position, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) to augment and or replace GPS in a denied/contested environments.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS Electrical Engineering preferred but not required with appropriate tactical collection level experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate converse and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, computer printer and copy machine.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • TS Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities:

Primary experience in ground tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection to successfully perform technology assessments and evaluations in support of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) community. Practical experience in RF principles wireless communication and data networks, but also experienced with understanding the tactical level Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and Training Project Plan (TPP) in the use of similar technologies. The ideal candidate has experience in developing test plans into test cases and understanding of required test equipment for each assessment and evaluation events.
