ROLE OUTLINE
The Royal Albert Hall is recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Rigging Supervisor to join our Production and Technical team.
Integral to the building is the Production and Technical department who are responsible for the preparation, set-up, and operational requirements of every event across the Hall from the Main Auditorium, to ‘Beyond the Main Stage’ areas including the Elgar Room and other spaces within the building.
The Senior Rigging Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the standards, processes, and delivery of all in-house rigging whilst also line managing the Rigging Supervisor team, guiding, mentoring, supporting, and rostering effectively to ensure the needs of the building are fully met whilst ensuring optimal working conditions for individuals.
This role will be a key figure in the development of in-house rigging services, as well as promoting and providing these services to external customers as required. The Senior Rigging Supervisor will ensure all rigging equipment is maintained and tested to comply with statutory requirements and codes of practice and meets appropriate H&S legislation.
