Senior Risk Engineer (Corporate Solutions)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Engineer to join Swiss Re Corporate Solutions ANZ. If you are an experienced risk engineer, to seize this exciting opportunity!

This position will advise our underwriters on risk quality, loss estimates, and loss prevention measures for our mining business. In this role you will closely interact with underwriters and other internal and external clients.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting insurance risk engineering surveys and provide consultations to our customers mainly in the Australia and APAC region;
• Working with our mining underwriters and providing risk engineering technical advice on risk quality, loss estimates, natural hazard exposures, capacity allocation and loss prevention measures for mid to large mining accounts;
• Assuming the role as an account risk engineer for selected accounts on which Swiss Re provides lead capacity;
• Carrying out on-site risk inspections and operations reviews on behalf of underwriters.
• Interacting with customers, brokers and underwriters regularly;
• Providing risk engineering consultation to our managed customers in the form of insurance risk surveys, risk improvement recommendations, loss mitigation proposals and specifications; and
• Formulating risk improvement recommendations to assist clients in their effort to improve the risk quality of their assets.
