Description:
IN ADDITION, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Applied Science degree from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineering designation or in the final stages of qualification.
- Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) / Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation is desirable.
- Minimum 5+ years work experience in property risk control / loss prevention field.
- 3-5 years with industrial risk experience in property risk control / loss prevention with insurance company or broker.
- Continuing education via lunch and learn sessions through SFPE or other professional organizations.
- Some exposure to machinery/equipment breakdown risk control is desirable.
- Strong ability to analyze and evaluate technical processes
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, multitasking and deliverables.
- Proactive and efficient working style.
- Ability to adapt to various departmental needs, and flexibility of meeting stakeholders’ expectations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including ability to communicate complex content in an easily understandable way to internal and external non-specialist audiences.
- Outstanding presentation skills, able to speak at professional seminars, panels or workshops
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Capable of leading large group discussions and presentations.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally
