What you’ll get to do
Perform robotic programming (for robot manufacturers such as Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki, Yaskawa, and Nachi), including the following:
Offline Programming – Develop logic in adherence to customer specifications
Robot Commissioning – Following best practices
Robot Communication Setup (i.e., Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profinet, etc) with PLC and peripheral devices/equipment
Robot Path Programming – Following standard programming practices with a focus on quality
Robot Dress – Properly dress the robot for application and path
Robot Safety Setup (i.e. DCS, SafeMove, Cubic S, RMU) – Configure Safe IO and set up safety parameters in adherence with customer specifications
Debug, test, and verify I/O signals and interference zones in the system.
Develop and implement engineering best practices, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
Travel to customer facilities (locally and internationally) and introduce programming enhancements to optimize robotic systems.
Address application requirements/set up robotic functions for washing, welding, joining, sealing, inspection, material handling, vision guidance systems, and vision quality assurance systems.
Provide detailed documentation of robotic procedures, shift notes, and customer documentation.
Train end-users in robotic operation, offering instruction, advice, and feedback to minimize downtime and expedite full productive capacity.
What we’re looking for
Experienced Experts: Leverage your Electrical Engineering/Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or Robotic Studies education and 5+ years of experience in designing, installing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic automated equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Travel Flexibility: Capacity to journey to various customer and company work sites internationally.
