Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will provide advice and support in driving improvements in HSE performance through alignment and delivery of UGL HSE programs,and identification and management of HSE risks within the business. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and for adherence to company policies and other applicable laws, regulations and standards for the workplace.

  • Monitor and interpret relevant HSE legislation, policies and regulations in order to provide direction and advice to projects which meet statutory and corporate objectives and responsibilities.
  • Where required, assess safety in design requirements and provide input for constructability reviews.
  • Facilitate risk workshops in order to effectively plan work in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Ensure that UGL’s HSE objectives and goals are set and attained at the project level including tracking KPIs for the Business.
  • Support the HSE Manager to execute the Project Audit program; including maintaining good documentation records for easy of execution regarding third party audits and maintaining client prequalification status.
