CORE EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, safety and health certification, bachelor’s degree or minimum 10 years work related experience preferred.
- Safety Certifications (CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP, CSM or equivalents) highly preferred
- Working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910, 29 CFR 1926, NFPA 70E, ANSI, NESC and other applicable federal or state regulations and guidelines.
- Experience in the Wind Power Generation field.
- Educational familiarity with implementing safety programs.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel.
- Ability to work with all levels in the organization, including field personnel, corporate personnel, suppliers, and contractors.

Responsibilities:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage & coordinate safety programs and all activities in wind major component exchange, wind technical services and maintenance services Wind Division service lines.
- Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs to support the HSE Managers, directors, managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure a common and effective approach.
- Oversee and manage HSE Managers who have direct reports including HSE Field Specialists.
- Monitor and communicate safety programs and efforts with on-site partners and Pearce employees, ensuring safety is part of our culture and that all new hires have proper safety documents and information.
- Manage activities, review work plans, approve permits in active wind power sites across the Country.
- Support HSE Managers with the investigation of all injuries, review all accident reports, ensure corrective measures have been initiated with Pearce employees and logging injuries/illnesses for OSHA purposes.
