Our client is a Cybersecurity and Compliance professional services firm that provides customized integrated solutions. Their clients range across various industries and extend from small businesses to the Fortune 500. They work with clients in over 40 states and on five continents globally.
The Senior Sales Associate is responsible for assisting the Sales Director by implementing sales plans, while also working closely with the marketing department to develop sales strategies, processes, and procedures. He / she is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with prospective and current clients.
He / she is responsible for meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to prospects needs, and market knowledge.
The Senior Sales Associate will grow and maintain a client base, working directly with the Director of Sales for goals, guidance, and assistance while reaching out to net new prospects, including outbound sales communications via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls.
The Senior Sales Associate will proactively solicit new prospects and referral relationships to create a strong pipeline, developing trusted relationships by catering to and gaining a solid understanding of the complex technology systems and functions of the clients operations, continually mindful of new services and upsell opportunities.

These attributes will be given preference to field of study or technical experience.

  • Bachelors Degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years cumulative proven experience in sales within a B2B environment
  • Professional, with excellent oral and written communication skills; strong computer skills
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a large prospect funnel
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial abilities, client focus, industry savvy, and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
  • Executive presence with clients, excellent written and technical skills, and the ability to effectively coach lesser experienced personnel are a must.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex business relationships and driving successful programs
  • Actively seeking information to understand clients positions, problems, expectations and needs; adjust priorities when appropriate
  • Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of our service offerings, including understanding of deadlines and the sales process
  • Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic
  • Interest and familiarity with technology, business operations, and strategy
  • Knowledge of the following professional services in the areas of SOC, HITRUST, PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, Vendor Privacy Assurance, Data Privacy, Information Security

Responsibilities:
