At Semco Maritime, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales & Business Development Manager to join our Products and Technology Division. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing our market presence and driving growth within the telecommunications sector of the global energy industry. If you possess a robust technical background, a passion for sales, and a vision to make a significant impact, we invite you to join our dedicated team.
Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel up to 50 days per year.

YOUR PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a candidate who is not only experienced in telecommunications engineering but also thrives in a sales-driven environment and is committed to innovation.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • A degree in electronic engineering or other relevant education.
  • Extensive knowledge of current technology and market trends.
  • Experience with strategic product development and management.
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills.
  • Good networking skills within and outside Semco Maritime.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Sales and Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Lead the promotion and market penetration of our innovative PAGA system, SemSound IP, specifically targeting the offshore market.
  • Craft and deliver compelling technical sales presentations to key stakeholders, including clients and end customers.
  • Strategize and implement sales plans that effectively increase product sales and expand market share.
  • Scout and seize new business opportunities, establishing strategic alliances that enhance our competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to streamline contracting processes and optimize product and vendor selection.
  • Offer support to the product development team, contributing to the enhancement of product offerings based on market needs.
