Description:

Carrier Rental Systems is seeking an experienced, energetic, customer-focused individual to join the organization as an Outside Sales Representative to support Singapore area. In this role you will utilize your skills and expertise front facing commercial customers in sales with installing heating and cooling equipment. With your experience where you will sell Rental Solutions including Industrial Chillers, Electric/Diesel Pumps, Air Handlers, Cooling towers, Generators and associated equipment’s.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar working experience.
  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC inside or outside sales experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Rental Industry experience
  • SAP / CRM Software experience
  • Self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence customer’s key decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
  • Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Identifies prospects and establishes a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customers needs.
  • Participates in business development activities for prospects within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.
  • Identifies bid opportunities, prepares bid responses, and negotiates with potential customers.
  • Develops new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
  • Supports the management team representative on prospective target accounts or territories.
  • Develops personal long-term customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Attends trade shows at times to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.
  • Manage and grow the assigned territory and accounts through the sales of temporary HVAC, Pumps and Power equipment.
  • Achieve annual sales targets and promote the growth of rental services while maintaining focus on cash flow management.
  • Consult with customer for requirements of emergency and planned rental projects.
  • Develop account management skills and provide customers with superior value and service.
