We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer
Objective:
A Senior Sales Engineer is to drive technical sales and provide specialized support on technology solutions to potential and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new sales opportunities, both with current and potential clients.
  • Technical Sales Support: Assist the sales team in the preparation and presentation of technical proposals, product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
  • Technical Consulting: Advise clients on the best technical solutions to meet their needs and solve specific problems.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as product development and engineering, to ensure that the solutions offered are viable and aligned with the company’s capabilities.
  • Training and Education: Train and train both clients and members of the sales team in technical aspects of the products and solutions offered.
  • Competition and Market Analysis: Evaluate competition and market trends to adjust sales and product development strategies

Qualifications

  • Degree in IT, engineering, a comparable degree or training in one of the fields with corresponding further training as a technician
  • High sales competence, at least 2 years of experience in B2B sales or product ownership of IT systems (f.e. ERP, MES, WMS) and lead generation
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Linkedin, Sales Navigator, Xing
  • Communication skills and ease in building a relationship with the customer
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Very good knowledge English min. B2
  • Driving license
