Starts Singapore is a local property agency owned by Starts Corporation (Japan). We specialise in supporting Japanese companies expanding their businesses into Singapore and their expatriates for their housing needs.

JOB BRIEF

We are looking for a committed Sales Executive to help us grow our market share of Japanese clientele. You will identify new business opportunities and generate new leads in order to improve revenue, profitability and help our business grow. You will work closely with company executives and salespersons in a teamwork manner attending to new enquiries from potential clients and maintaining a long-lasting relationship with current and new clients. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting revenue and forging strong relationships with clients.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Fluent verbal and written Japanese with Minimum JLPT N1 Certification is required to manage relationship with Japanese clients and work with the senior management in Tokyo Head office on sales reports and new referrals where primary communication is in Japanese. A degree in Japanese University would be a plus.
  • Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as a team player and be willing to back up one another to achieve service excellence.
  • Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
  • Minimum 3 years related experience in the described job scope.
  • Familiar with MS Office

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research in related events, publications, and announcements to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Create new client files, upkeep clients’ folders, correspondences etc
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
