Description:
Are you our new Senior Sales Supporter, who can drive and develop our sales support in Denmark? Would you like to play an important role in the expansion and development of a company with huge growth potential?
We have been experiencing growth and are looking for an ambitious and technically minded individual to bring the support to the next level at our office in Nørresundby.
DESMI Pumping Technology A/S is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of a large variation of pumps and automated systems for the maritime and industrial markets worldwide.
As our new Senior Sales Supporter, you will support external sales primarily for the Danish marine market.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for supporting a designated list of customers and area sales managers mainly in Denmark and primarily within maritime sector by preparing quotations and answer our customers´ during quotation phase.
You will visit customers together with the area sales managers and build up a close relationship with the designated customers and account managers and understanding of each customer´s specific needs.
The position is located in Nørresundby, Denmark, however you will have the possibility to work remote for up to two days pr. week. You will work closely with our European Sales Support Team and will have colleagues including other sales supporters, salesmen and colleagues around the world with whom you can spare with. You will also have sufficient training when starting.
You can expect 10-25 travel days yearly.
To have success in the role, we expect that you:
- Have high technical understandings in pumping technology and engineering.
- Educational background as marine- or mechanical engineer
- Preferably hands on experience
- Know how to manage configuration, pricing and quoting.
- Have commercial knowledge. (Payment terms, negotiations etc.).
- Are comfortable in Danish and English both in writing and spoken.
- Have cross cultural understanding.
- Are service minded and ready to support cross departments.
- Experience with CRM is an advantage
