Overall Mandate:
In this role, you will lead and participate in the functional and technical design and development aspects of Salesforce, including configurations, data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications/AppExchange, and custom code. Working closely with our vendors and our own team of business analysts, architects, software engineers and data management resources you will drive the development within our Salesforce instance and translate business vision into technical reality. The ideal candidate has a desire to grow their career in Salesforce and gain exposure to other Enterprise Application Systems. You are a strong team player with exceptional skills who is passionate about using technology to solve business problems.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of strong hands-on development experience with Salesforce as well as a pulse on innovative technology.
  • Proficiency with overall Salesforce software and integrations architecture/configurations, Lightning Web components, Apex programming, Visualforce pages, REST API’s, Flows, Dynamic Layout, Permission sets, Sandbox managements, Dashboard and reports, GitHub.
  • Have experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and CPQ modules.
  • Familiar working in a hybrid workload environment composed of bug fixes and new projects.
  • Demonstrated success with Salesforce integration projects. You have experience in integrating Salesforce with other applications.
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, and Agile delivery environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Certifications:
  • Platform Developer I Certification.
  • Double Star Ranger ranks or plus.
  • Platform Developer II Certification (preferred).

Your role will encompass the following.

  • Take a proactive approach to pinpointing opportunities for enhancement by thoroughly analyzing inefficiencies within the application, evaluating the effort required for the proposed changes, and effectively communicating these insights to management.
  • Produce high quality code changes with emphasis on scalability and stability.
  • Performs code reviews with technical feedback on logical problems, uncovered edge cases, or other issues.
  • Support the quality assurance personnel in comprehending the modifications made to the code.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure delivery of cross collaborating projects are met.
  • Communicate process changes enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
  • Create actionable technical documentation based on gathered business requirements.
  • Assist in the scoping and planning of various related projects and initiatives in relation to Salesforce.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met in a timely manner with excellent quality following the Agile methodology.
  • Review incident requests and troubleshoot issues to understand technical deficiencies of the product, define root causes, and implement proactive resolution design or solution.
