QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development programming & methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP Gateway.
- Should have experience/Knowledge in SAP NetWeaver Gateway Services, OData/JSON/RESTFUL data models.
- Should have good functional testing skills with an exposure to quality testing and methodologies.
- Knowledge of tool like JIRA & Eclipse would be added advantage.
- FI/CO, MM, PM, HR functional knowledge would be added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to Agile methodology is an added advantage.
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to analyse complex information.
- Debug, identify, help resolve complex technical issues in standard/custom. developments and independently manage critical/complex situations.
- Communication – verbal and written, customer service focused, able to engage with end users at all levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to handle day to day BAU issues and resolve them within the stipulated timelines and with great quality.
- Accountable for technical architecture to manage risks, issues and any associated challenges with the designs.
- To assist and support from a technical perspective with project go-lives as and when required.
- Be responsible for any customer ABAP related project, enhancements and support issues.
- Assist and guide colleagues with technical architecture advice, share knowledge and provide support.
- To be seen as a trusted advisor to the functional teams and customer stakeholders of all levels.
- Working with functional teams, advise and explain the available system development changes and any impacts technical developments may have.
- To provide a level of strategic advice to functional teams and customers for system technical architecture.
- To draft project specifications, estimations and documentation.
- Assist, advise and provide input into internal projects, innovation, technologies and business improvements.
- To design, build, implement and lead the delivery of developments for specification of several SAP modules and/or Integration related technical solutions to meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Provide solutions to business processes, perform requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, and testing of solutions.
