JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our teams. You will have a great opportunity to work within two talented scrum teams to solve real world problems as well as to forge the role of dedicated Scrum Master within our software development department and drive the wider agile transformation forward.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience as Agile Coach/Scrum Master for a software development team
• Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM I)
• Knowledge of other agile approaches and techniques: Scrum, Kanban, XP, User stories, TDD, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, agile games, etc.
• Strong skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolutions, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
• Communication and leadership skills necessary to lead improvement initiatives across the program
• Experience applying a wide variety of practices and to facilitate all Scrum Events
• Proven knowledge and practical experience of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
• Experience working with remote and distributed teams

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree
• 2+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, backlog refinement and retrospectives
• Foster continuous improvement and coach these scrum teams to a higher level of self-organizing maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
• Emphasize sprint goals and ensure they align with the priorities in the product backlog and active project milestones
• Leverage existing tools (JIRA, Confluence) to find ways in effectively visualizing scrum teams’ work and activity, as well as in providing insight towards sprint level and release level goals
• Working with other scrum masters, organize and cross-pollinate best practices between scrum teams in different product areas
• Assist in educating new hires about Agile concepts and processes around feature development
• Address and navigate conflict, with poise and fairness and know when to elevate issues outside the scrum team
• Facilitate decision-making moments, even during difficult times, and to summarize and communicate those decisions with rationale and assumptions to a wider audience
• Work with Product Owners, Managers and Technical Leads to help coordinate project and feature dependencies across scrums teams
