REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• You have 5 – 8 years of proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in energy, or rotating machinery projects.
• You are familiar with industrial processes, engineering standards, and equipment used in the energy industry (fans, pumps, fluid mechanics, process engineering).
• You have strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

As a Seals Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing mechanical seals for our carbon capture machines. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute hands-on expertise, and drive the success of our groundbreaking initiatives.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE:

• You will utilize your expertise in CAD-Creo to create detailed designs, 3D models, and engineering drawings especially fabricated components.
• You will translate conceptual ideas into practical, manufacturable designs.
• You will actively participate in the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
• You will process and analyze data from experiments, field tests, and simulations.
• You will wear multiple hats, from design to project management and beyond.
