QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
- A minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience with demonstrated effectiveness and success in the mission areas below:
- Military Strategy and Planning
- Security Cooperation
- International Affairs
- Knowledge and general understanding of the following:
- Security cooperation and international affairs.
- Combatant Command roles and missions.
- Combatant Command role within and relationship towards the security cooperation community.
- Data systems and metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree with a desired emphasis in International Affair curriculum.
- Recent experiece support USSOUTHCOM (within the last 5 years)
Responsibilities:
Peraton is seeking a Security Cooperation Strategy Planning Lead supporting DoD operations in South Florida. In this role you will create a repeatable process that analyzes guidance (i.e., National Security Strategy (NSS), National Defense Strategy (NDS), National Military Strategy (NMS), Command priorities) and translates that guidance into a command security cooperation strategy for security cooperation planners to meet security cooperation objectives.
Routinely, you will review and analyze US strategic guidance, DoD and Command publications, and professional international affairs publications which impact security cooperation, and determine how they relate to the role within the security cooperation community.
