Description:

Do you want to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic and diverse environment? Are agile working methods, challenging projects and individual creative freedom your thing? Are you passionate about cyber security and enjoy working in interdisciplinary, self-organized teams? Then you’ve come to the right place, because we are passionate about promoting cutting-edge technologies!
We are looking for a proactive, innovative, and dedicated individual to join our global Cyber Security team, which protects Hellmann’s digital assets by monitoring networks, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to cyber threats like hacking and malware. If you are passionate about cybersecurity and have a track record of effective hands-on security events management, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100 % of our requirements. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our cybersecurity defenses, focusing on our Central Log Management (CLM) platform, which serves as the next generation Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
We invite you to make an impact, to work as a team with us and to develop yourself further: Impact, Team and Development – our three core IT & Digital motives. Apply now and join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and operational health of the CLM (Centralized Log Management) platform, progressing it as a next-generation SIEM system.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the SOC Manager to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the CLM platform.
  • Lead the development and implementation of custom security detections to enhance threat identification and response capabilities.
  • Monitor the security health of systems, identify and mitigate issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Innovate and implement automation processes to reduce manual efforts in recurring tasks within the CLM platform.
  • Actively participate in initiatives to improve the organization’s cyber resilience by increasing detection and prevention capabilities.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, incorporating best practices into the security framework.
