Description:
Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA. Our client is a New York-based information technology and consulting company focused on the financial services industry, including capital markets, insurance, banking, cards & payments, and digital. The company offers consulting solutions in target state architecture, technology analysis, design thinking, and data management. The progressive technologies and optimization strategies span end-to-end artificial intelligence, consulting, digital, cloud & DevOps, data, and software engineering, servicing numerous noteworthy financial services and technology firms. Through research and development initiatives in their finlabs, the client develops modernization solutions, from artificial intelligence and blockchain to data science models, digital underwriting, mobile-first applications, and more. The client, The company, is one of the largest independent pure-play technology consulting and outsourcing providers for financial services and has 48 offices in 19 countries within key global markets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions to improve business processes, workflows, and integrations and for implementing ServiceNow best practices for a large multi-national insurance company.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, ITRM, ITBM, ITVM, BCM, SPM, UPM-X, CSM, and SecOps modules within ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and integrating third-party APIs with ServiceNow.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform’s current and future functionality and relevance to the organization.
- Design and implement high-quality ServiceNow solutions that integrate with enterprise architecture and business needs.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define system requirements and customize the platform accordingly.
- Lead architecture and design sessions; advocate best practices and optimal design techniques to ensure performance and scalability.
- Provide expert guidance to development teams on technical issues, modern integration techniques, and ServiceNow best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and practices in the ServiceNow environment.
- Act as a mentor to junior architects, developers, testers, product owners, and testers, providing leadership to enhance their skills and understanding of ServiceNow technologies.
- Serve as the product owner and be responsible for maintenance, upgrades, and incident resolution for UPM-X (Architecture module of ServiceNow).
Will be a plus:
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator and/or Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist.
