We’re on the hunt for a Senior Social Media Manager with a knack for storytelling, a passion for video content, and a proven track record in amplifying brand voices across the digital sphere. Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Content Creation: Focus on creating compelling social media content aligned with JetBrains’ brand values and goals. This includes partnerships with influencers to enhance our brand presence and leading development of engaging and innovative content, especially video. Prior experience with external creators and agencies is advantageous.
  • Social Media and Video Streaming Management: Oversee @JetBrains social media channels and video streaming platforms as part of a dynamic team, driving key growth metrics such as follower count, engagement rate, and reach. Work in concert with team members to strategize and implement effective content initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly across product marketing, regional marketing, design, and other relevant teams to ensure a cohesive content strategy and execution plan.
  • Trend Analysis and Adaptation: Keep a pulse on current social media trends, especially in video content, and adapt strategies to maintain relevance and engagement.
  • Guidelines and Best Practices: Continuously refine and promote JetBrains social media guidelines and best practices within the company.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide insightful analysis on social media performance, offering actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Content Management and Moderation: Direct the selection and publication of content across platforms, ensuring alignment with audience preferences. Additionally, manage channel moderation to cultivate a supportive and engaging community environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated success in growing and managing corporate social media channels, particularly in the global IT product or brand space, requiring a balance of B2B and B2C marketing strategies.
  • Industry Savviness: Having a solid grasp of the software development industry and its community is a plus. We value familiarity with the challenges and aspirations developers face.
  • Social Media Expertise: Skilled in using major social media platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube, with proficiency in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok considered a bonus.
  • Content Creation and Collaboration: Skilled in crafting, curating, and collaborating on engaging, brand-aligned content, with a particular emphasis on video and copywriting. Proficient with native platform tools and adept at coordinating with cross-functional teams for content production.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences. Fluency in written and spoken English required.
  • Vision and Stakeholder Management: Ability to visualize the broader brand strategy and manage expectations across different stakeholders within the company.
