Fortinet is offering an exciting opportunity and hiring a Senior Software Dev QA to enhance our product Quality on Fortiweb. FortiWeb, Fortinet’s Web Application Firewall, protects business-critical web applications from attacks that target known and unknown vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities ：

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Develop test tools to support feature testing.
• Set up and maintain a developing QA test environment.
• Execute feature testing using a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot bugs, ensuring defects are accurately identified and resolved.

Requirements ：

• Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language: Proficient in Python, Shell, Ruby, Perl, etc.
• Experience in developing testing frameworks or test tools.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments: Skilled in setting up and managing servers across both Linux and Windows platforms.
• Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and TCP/IP protocols.
• Familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ability to perform fundamental network setups and configurations.
• Understanding of Web application vulnerabilities, including the OWASP top 10.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Big Data analysis is a plus.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $81,000 - $110,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
