Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director, Identity Access Management (IAM) – IAM is responsible for building and maintaining the corporate systems that manage user access to the network, systems, and services.
We are looking for an experience software developer to lead and contribute the development of our IAM code base. The team is a mixture of both APS staff and contractors.
You will work with high performing individuals in a team that is trusted by leadership to deliver a modern IAM system based on the latest cloud technology.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the senior software developer may include:

  • Lead the development of code base for the departments IAM capability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture patterns.
  • Ensure documentation correctly reflects the current design.
  • Implement code changes as per the design, ensuring quality is maintained.
  • Ensure testers can fully test all existing and future features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop agreed integration APIs.
  • Mentor / coach other developers in good coding practices.
  • Assist in managing delivery of the IAM system.
  • Assist with effort estimate, costings and tracking of work deliverables.
  • Representing the team in various meetings and forums.
