REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 5 - 8+ years’ experience in software engineering
  • Proven experience in Java programming language
  • Experience in Cloud/SaaS technologies
  • Experience in working with open-source libraries in a complex product architecture
  • Understanding and implementation of automated software testing and Quality Assurance methodologies
  • Self-motivated and have an interest in continuous learning
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
  • Must be hard working, team oriented, creative, cooperative, and an exceptional problem solver
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic group with a desire to be part of a small, lean and growing team
  • Familiarity with Java script and Groovy
  • Experience working on agile teams, preferrable using Scrum
  • Tools: Jira, Git, Github, SQL
  • Openness to working across time zones to collaborate with global teams

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain software products in the geocoding and addressing domain
  • Ability analyze and solve complex software problems
  • Create and maintain API’s Java that perform in Cloud/SaaS environments
  • Experience in Cloud Native Application development using Cloud Native Technologies & Microservices.
  • Experience in developing & consuming REST APIs in building scalable, modern web applications.
  • Effectively use Git for building and managing code
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Work within an agile Scrum team in the role of software engineer
