The role will also include supporting other people within the development team as well as its processes and working practices.
The software development team forms part of the Technology department. The team will be working on our Beacon data platform which supports the drug development industry by providing up-to-date data on drugs, clinical trials, deals and companies. • Works with our Product team to determine and prioritise requirements and implements those requirements working alongside the QA team.
  • Takes a key role in the development and maintenance of content data models and transformations, and from these models the generation of customer delivery formats.
  • Alongside the Technical Lead, supports the recruitment of technical staff for the development team.
  • Manages the infrastructure and environments to ensure data resilience, security and reliable product releases.
  • Takes a key role in supporting live applications, by developing and documenting support processes, instigating appropriate monitoring of sites and setting alert thresholds, and supporting incident resolution and continual improvement.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders from across the business to improve our products.
