About the Role
We are looking for a lead senior experienced full-stack engineer who excels at creating an exceptional user experience to join our Data and Services (DnS) tribe at Swift.
Based in Belgium, you will be working alongside a dynamic team who are fully responsible for end to end delivery – from customer engagement to operations.

What to expect

• You will be a technical authority for your peers and will be able to lead more junior profiles into a successful path
• You will design, develop, test (including automated integration and regression) and integrate new features, components and improvements to compliance products
• You will use a range of proven technologies, (Java/Javascript on Linux environment) with lots of room of experimentation (for example, container orchestration, CI/CD tooling, distributed architectures like Kafka and Cassandra) to drive true value to our customers
• You will have the opportunity to be or develop yourself and others in true full-stack engineers covering software architecture, development, quality assurance, security, operations and IT infrastructure aspects
• You will work in a truly international environment with main hubs across 3 continents

Technical skills

• Senior-level full-stack engineer with over five years of experience
• Expertise with Java 17 Programming language and frameworks (e.g. Spring, JEE)
• Experience in SQL and Oracle
• Knowledge of Linux OS
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed infrastructure (e.g. Spark, Kafka)
• Knowledge of continuous delivery process and technologies (e.g. Docker, Jenkins, Ansible)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Ember)
