Crowdbotics is committed to delivering high-quality, reliable web-based platforms. We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing frameworks and strategies. Your expertise in Cypress, Python, JavaScript, and related technologies will be vital in delivering a robust and scalable application to our users.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in Cypress, Python, JavaScript, and related testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with other programming languages and testing tools.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Cypress, Python, and JavaScript.
• Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test strategies.
• Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability and functionality of the application.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Continuously improve test automation infrastructure and processes.
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and methodologies.
