Description:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Computer or Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Computer Science or related field
- Software Project Leadership is preferred
- Software design experience is preferred
- 7+ years of automotive experience is preferred
- Ability to launch and lead software development without supervision
- Ability to work with Global Teams

Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and mentor junior engineers as a technical leader through training, reviews and collaboration.
- Work directly with customers and suppliers to develop and manage designs, requirements, specifications, etc.
- Participate in Agile Scrum teams through sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, sprint reviews and daily standups.
- Quoting new programs through estimation of hours, costs for tools and licenses by engaging with our internal team and our supply base.
- Support engineering in new product development and managing lessons learned.
- Write C Code to meet functional and technical specifications.
- Perform peer reviews on all artifacts during the lifecycle of a project.
- Code compliance to MISRA-C, CERTC and ADAC coding guidelines.
- Create and maintain software architecture and detail designs.
- Support Test Lab functional test requirements.
- Support manufacturing regarding inline product testing methods, specifications and equipment selection.
- Investigate alternative suppliers of electronic content for non-directed-buy suppliers for future products.
- Evaluate, assess and troubleshoot electronics content contained in core product base.
