Simi’s Automotive division is currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (C++, Python)
Tasks
- Implementation of solutions for camera-based monitoring systems
- Design and architecture of software solutions
- Automotive software engineering with focus on functional safety and embedded systems
- Transfer of prototypes to automotive grade software solutions
- Integration of automotive busses and hardware drivers
- Conceptualization and implementation of automated testing and deployment
Requirements
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with focus on software development
- Experience with automotive development in an ISO 26262 environment
- Profound knowledge in C++ and embedded software best practices
- Good knowledge in Python
- Experience in Computer Vision is a plus
- Experience with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I²C and CSI is a plus
- Experience with high performance SOC embedded systems, IPC for processors and hardware accelerators is a plus
- Self-motivated team player with systematic working skills
- Fluent in English, German B2 appreciated
