JOB DESCRIPTION

Next Glass is looking for an experienced full-stack software engineer to join our Brewery Solutions team. In this role you will work in a modern Ruby on Rails tech stack including Hotwire and Stimulus building the Ollie Ops and Ollie Order SaaS applications for breweries. Collaborating with other experienced engineers, you’ll work to expand Ollie’s capabilities and unlock new value for craft breweries in North America and around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager to implement technical and product requirements, collaborating with team members in execution
  • Undertake continuous improvement of the technology stack, infrastructure, application uptime and performance.
  • Share knowledge and feedback to peers on code quality, product design and system design.
  • Gain an understanding of the beer production process and business domain, and work with the Product team to help refine requirements for new features and enhancements.
  • Takes part in support ticket escalations in order to assist the team in diagnosing and resolving customer inquiries and problems
  • Takes part in an on-call rotation to support the application in the event of rare outages and incidents
