RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverage agile software development frameworks for product delivery and write clean, scalable code
• Partner with peers, scrum masters, product owners, and other stakeholders on product delivery
• Create high-quality software solutions that satisfy users, are aligned with standards and guiding principles, and are maintainable and easy to support
• Ensure solution economics and total cost of ownership are considered during design and development
• Assess, understand, and document the interaction between systems, impacts of various designs, and performance tradeoffs
• Define and mature software engineering standards and practices
• Perform code reviews to maintain high levels of code integrity
• Mentor software engineers to assist with career development
• Create and maintain software engineer training curriculums
• Education, Experience, and Skills
• Two year degree in Computer Science / 5+ years related discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience or training with agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban)
• Acquainted with cloud, web, integration, and data development in a business environment
• Enterprise solutions exposure, both off-the-shelf and custom built
• Background involving Azure DevOps, Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing automated tests, SQL developments, and mobile application and development
• Experience with cloud technologies and open source technologies
• Knowledge of and experience with IT security and data privacy best-practice
• Familiar with leading product development, and retail/distribution business processes
