About the job
Our primary focus is on modernizing our invoicing solutions, ensuring they scale efficiently while handling large volumes of data with precision. You will work with MySQL databases and various technologies to contribute to the success of our projects.
Your role as a senior engineer involves driving the implementation of strategic technical patterns and frameworks across our platform. You’ll be hands-on in developing prototypes and solutions to advance platform architecture while collaborating and sometimes leading your teammates’ work.
In this role, you will have significant ownership of your tasks and the opportunity to influence our technological direction. While collaboration is essential, we encourage you to take the initiative and drive decision-making processes. We are on an exciting journey to decouple from our monolithic architecture and integrate new technologies and designs. Your knowledge will be crucial in solving complex technical challenges and guiding the technological evolution of our services. Key responsibilities Include: Developing, troubleshooting, and improving our finance platform
Writing clean, testable, and efficient code Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers Focusing on practical solutions that address business challenges sustainably and future-proof About you
Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to continuous improvement. We seek someone with a solid foundation in software engineering principles and extensive experience with Java, MySQL, and Hibernate. Experience in Kubernetes and event-driven architecture is a plus.You communicate well in English and can explain technical ideas clearly with a humble approach. You are eager to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
We value problem-solvers who tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions and great communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly. A keen interest in learning, adapting, and sharing knowledge is also essential.
