What you’ll do
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer, with experience in architecting, developing, and maintaining single-page applications (SPAs).

Reporting directly to the Director of Internal Engineering, you will:

• Develop a maintainable and testable single-page application (SPA).
• Collaborate with our UI designer, and implement beautiful UI designs ensuring seamless functionality across platforms.
• Mentor other frontend engineers and collaborate with backend engineers for seamless integration.

This is a hybrid role based from our Edinburgh site. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Future opportunities could include taking on a more senior role in the Internal Engineering Team, or a senior role in our Product team.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in architecting, developing and maintaining single-page applications (SPAs) with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and testability. We use Svelte, but if you’re coming from another framework, that’s perfectly fine!
• JavaScript Proficiency: Excellent understanding of modern TypeScript (preferably) for creating nice interactive UI elements and enhancing overall frontend functionality.
• Experience in UI development: You have mastered CSS, and it doesn’t scare you, except maybe for centring elements vertically!
• Provide supportive mentorship and you offer clear direction solutions to frontend challenges.
• Complete projects with a product mindset working with Agile methodologies.
