Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to mentor a high-performing development team within Insurance Technology. Your role involves building API and microservice capabilities to enhance our Digital Insurance self-service features. You will actively contribute to the Agile software development lifecycle and be well-versed in DevOps/Continuous Integration and production deployment processes. This role encompasses systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and ongoing support as well as coaching and mentoring junior Engineers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of guidelines and frameworks for quality, automation, and security in Continuous Delivery and Integration pipelines
- Provide technical leadership in automation, Continuous Delivery and Integration, configuration management, and monitoring practices across the portfolio
- Guide and support delivery teams to implement best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance
- Analyse system requirements and develop technical design
- Develop and maintain digital applications
- Perform unit and integration testing, including thorough unit and system test plans
