About the opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Golang) (w/m/d) to join our “Quick Commerce, Ads Platform” team. Contribute to the development of our next-generation ads platform that drives decision-making and enhances the targeting of online media campaigns for groceries, pharmaceuticals, flowers, and more. Work on building a robust data platform used by internal campaign managers and external advertisers to improve campaign performance. If you’re a creative problem solver who is eager to deliver solutions and hungry for a new adventure, an international workplace is waiting for you in the heart of Berlin!

YOUR HEROIC SKILLS:

• Golang expert in the context of distributed systems and services.
• 4+ years of experience in large-scale applications.
• 3+ years of experience in Golang.
• 3+ years of experience in working with agile methodologies.
• Experience in Kafka and Redis.
• A rock-solid foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design).
• Professional experience of cloud platform hosting via AWS / GCP as well via terraform / cloud formation / helm.
• Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.
• Ability to make independent decisions and taking ownership for them beyond deployment.
• You are a pragmatic programmer who understands what is needed to get things done in a collaborative manner.
• Fluent English communication skill.
