THE INTEGRATION SERVICES TEAM

You will be part of a team of engineers which further develops Sygnum’s API gateway and seamlessly connects and integrates Sygnum’s digital asset banking platform with its B2B clients and ecosystem partners (e.g., custody platforms, exchanges, etc.). In this context, your team is also accountable for driving the technical development of Sygnum’s Trade Collateral Management solution as well as our 24/7 real-time settlement network.
As a senior member of the team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Sygnum’s API gateway, which is one of the key growth channels of the bank. You will build and maintain the technological foundation to expose an ever-growing suite of client-facing APIs to our most sophisticated and tech-driven clients and ecosystem partners. Based on this foundation, you will add additional API-based functionality (e.g., balance retrieval, account transfers, payments, trading, messaging, etc.) in line with growing client demand. For our Trade Collateral Management and 24/7 real-time settlement network solutions, you will also own the UI-based versions of the products that are seamlessly integrated into our e-Banking portal.

As a senior software engineer, you will

• Actively participate in developing new features and improvements by writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
• Constantly enhance the quality and security of applications, identifying existing technical debt and making plans to repay it
• Respond to production incidents promptly and efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity
• Collaborate with platform engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes
• Collaborate with site reliability engineers and solution architects to optimize application availability, resilience, and observability
• Nurture and guide more junior software engineers through coaching and mentoring
